Agreement. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and CoveredLoop (“CoveredLoop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) governing your access to and use of CoveredLoop.com and related applications, dashboards, and services (collectively, the “Service”).

Eligibility. You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

Account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, multi-factor authentication devices, and any devices used to access the Service. You must provide accurate registration information and promptly update it. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

License. Subject to these Terms and your payment of applicable fees, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or provide the Service to third parties as a competing product, except as allowed by law.

Acceptable use. You agree not to: (a) misuse the Service or attempt unauthorized access; (b) interfere with security, rate limits, or infrastructure; (c) scrape or harvest data beyond normal product use; (d) upload malware or unlawful content; (e) use the Service for illegal trading, market manipulation, or fraud; or (f) violate applicable law or third-party rights.

Not a broker-dealer or adviser. CoveredLoop is a software analytics platform. We are not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, commodity trading advisor, exchange, clearing firm, or fiduciary. We do not execute trades, hold customer funds or securities, or provide personalized investment advice. Trade execution and custody remain solely with your brokerage (for example, Tradier) under their terms.

Intellectual property. The Service, including software, design, trademarks, and content we provide, is owned by CoveredLoop or its licensors. Sample portfolio data is fictional or illustrative and may not reflect real markets.

Suspension & termination. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, fail to pay required fees, pose a security risk, or if we discontinue the Service. You may stop using the Service at any time and may request account-related assistance at info@coveredloop.com.

Disclaimers. THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant that data from third parties (including brokers or market data sources) is complete, accurate, or timely.

Limitation of liability. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COVEREDLOOP AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (US $100). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted.

Indemnity. You agree to indemnify and hold harmless CoveredLoop from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising from your use of the Service, your brokerage connection, your content, or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S.A., without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located in Pennsylvania shall have exclusive jurisdiction, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Changes. We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use CoveredLoop.com.

Information we collect.

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), multi-factor authentication settings, and membership status.
• Payment data: payment is processed by Square. We receive limited payment metadata (for example payment status, payment reference, and receipt URL). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Brokerage connection data: when you connect Tradier via official OAuth, we store encrypted access tokens and related account identifiers needed to retrieve portfolio information you authorize. We do not store your brokerage password.
• Portfolio & product data: holdings, trades, balances, notes, and preferences you generate or import through the Service (including sample portfolio mode).
• Technical & usage data: IP address, browser/user agent, device signals, security logs, and product events used for security, fraud prevention, debugging, and service improvement.

How we use information. We use data to provide and improve the Service, authenticate users, process payments, connect to broker APIs you authorize, display analytics, enforce security and rate limits, prevent abuse, comply with law, and communicate about the Service (including transactional messages).

Legal bases (where applicable). Where required (for example GDPR), we process data based on contract performance, legitimate interests (security, product improvement), consent (where requested), and legal obligations.

Sharing. We may share information with: (a) service providers (hosting, authentication, payment processors such as Square, email infrastructure) under appropriate safeguards; (b) your brokerage when you initiate an OAuth connection; (c) professional advisers; and (d) authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.

Security. We use industry-standard measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data, including encryption of brokerage tokens at rest, encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls, session protections, and multi-factor authentication options. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Retention. We retain account and transaction records for as long as your account is active and as needed for legitimate business, security, and legal purposes. You may request deletion subject to legal retention requirements.

Your choices. You may update preferences in the app, disconnect your brokerage connection, enable MFA, or contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of personal data where applicable law provides those rights. California residents may have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA; contact us to exercise them. We do not discriminate for exercising privacy rights.

Children. The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

International transfers. If you access the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the U.S. or other countries where we or our providers operate.

Changes. We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.

No investment advice. Content on the Service—including dashboards, charts, performance metrics, sample portfolios, strategy views (covered calls, credit spreads), and educational material—is for informational and analytical purposes only. Nothing on CoveredLoop constitutes investment, tax, legal, or accounting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security or options contract.

Options trading risk. Options involve substantial risk and are not suitable for all investors. You can lose more than your initial investment in some strategies. Past performance, including any returns shown in sample or live data, does not guarantee future results. You should carefully consider whether trading is appropriate in light of your experience, objectives, financial resources, and risk tolerance.

Data limitations. Analytics depend on data from your broker and third-party sources. Quotes, balances, day change, P&L, and strategy groupings may be delayed, incomplete, or estimated. Always verify critical information with your broker of record before making trading decisions.

Your responsibility. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions and for compliance with your broker’s agreements, exchange rules, and applicable securities laws.

CoveredLoop may allow you to connect a Tradier brokerage account through Tradier’s official third-party / OAuth authorization flow. By connecting, you authorize CoveredLoop to access account information permitted by the scopes you approve (for example balances, positions, and history) in order to display analytics in the Service.

We store OAuth tokens using encryption at rest and do not collect your brokerage password. You may disconnect at any time in Settings, which removes stored connection credentials from CoveredLoop. Tradier’s own terms, privacy policy, and customer agreements govern your brokerage relationship; CoveredLoop is independent of Tradier.

Sample portfolio mode lets you explore the product without connecting a live account. Sample data is illustrative only.

CoveredLoop offers live Tradier access through paid membership plans: monthly, annual, or lifetime one-time. Current list prices are published on the site ($29/mo · $199/yr · $499 lifetime) and the amount charged is confirmed at checkout. Coupons may apply. Sample and manual portfolios remain free within free-tier limits. Membership payments are processed by Square. Applicable taxes may apply depending on your location and Square’s configuration.

Because access is digital and may be used immediately after payment, fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or where we determine a refund is appropriate (for example a confirmed duplicate charge). Contact info@coveredloop.com within a reasonable time if you believe a billing error occurred. Monthly and annual plans grant access for the paid period; lifetime plans grant ongoing access after payment unless terminated under these Terms.

Administrators may grant or revoke membership access for operational or support reasons. Revocation for abuse or Terms violations does not automatically create a refund obligation unless required by law.

We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences (such as theme), protect against cross-site abuse, and maintain session security. Essential cookies are required for the Service to function. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may prevent sign-in or break core features.

Your choices. When you first visit CoveredLoop, we show a cookie banner so you can Accept all, choose Essential only, or customize optional categories (functional preferences and analytics). You can reopen these controls anytime via Cookie settings in the site footer. Optional analytics tools, including Google Analytics (GA4), are not loaded unless you accept that category. If you choose Essential only or turn Analytics off, we do not initialize Google Analytics tags.

We may also record security and product event logs (for example sign-in, payment status, broker connect, and rate-limit events) to operate and protect the Service. Admin users may review aggregated operational logs as part of site administration.
